The Millennium Hollywood project is a new mixed-use development located in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles, surrounded by such icons as the Walk of Fame and the Mann’s Chinese Theater. The project, comprised of two towers on 4.47 acres (1.8 hectares), will include approximately 500 residential units, a boutique hotel with 200 keys, Class A office space, parking for 1,800 cars, a fitness club, as well as restaurants and retail.

The two towers will rise on the site to frame views of the Capitol Records Tower and the Gogerty Building, which will be preserved under the oversight of architect Bill Roschen of Roschen Van Cleve Architects.

Landscape architecture firm James Corner Field Operations is leading the design of the extensive open space and street-level plazas. Enhanced pedestrian circulation throughout the site and to the east will link the landmarks with the new structures.

The design for the towers is based on the concept of inside/outside living, of a stacked version of the famous Case Study House #22. Rather than slick and monolithic, they are envisioned as more organic in form.
