About the Job

Our growing San Francisco interior design studio is looking for a smart, energetic, responsible Interior Designer with passion and experience in the field. Our ideal candidate is an individual with strong design and technical skills, who is adept at conceiving, developing and overseeing a wide range of hospitality and residential projects. You will work with and report to the Director of Interiors to generate design concepts, helping take projects from the storyboard to completion.

Designers in our studio play an integral role in overseeing, leading and furthering design. They are actively involved with their respective projects, and are expected to show initiative, and have passion for establishing relationships with other team members, consultants and client teams.

About the Office

The San Francisco office is comprised of a group of talented architects, designers and support staff. In our collaborative open studio environment, we share ideas, engage in each other’s projects and contribute to creating exciting and dynamic designs. We celebrate professional and personal milestones. We gather for Friday Breakfast, Happy Hour and Friday Forum. We work hard. And we have fun.

We bring passion, motivation and energy in designing spaces that will make a positive impact in people’s lives. Studio members of all levels are required to be flexible, open minded and willing to work concurrent projects. We try to be a fluid group and encourage open design dialog and participation.


  • Conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation and construction administration of both large and small-scale projects
  • Prepare, develop and present designs to clients for approval
  • Collaborate with design team to develop space plans, furniture layouts, FF&E selections and documentation
  • Work with external consultants and product representatives to produce finish plans, furniture plans, schedules, specifications and material selections needed for construction documentation
  • Lead, manage, and mentor junior designers


  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design
  • Professional portfolio demonstrating passion for interior design and interior architecture
  • Strong technical skills to prepare design and construction documents and specifications
  • Excellent graphic presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Professionalism when interfacing with clients
  • Proven success developing and overseeing concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and collaborative
  • Possess high sensibility and affinity for materials, products, and resources
  • Proficient in 2D/3D software, including Rhino, Sketch Up, Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), AutoCAD and Revit
