Architectural Designer

Perform zoning & building code analysis under supervision of Project Architect. Perform Schematic Design including programming, layout spaces, and building massing. Perform Design Development including detailed layout of spaces and development of exterior façade design and details. Under supervision of Project Architect coordinate with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineers in addition to other technical consultants. Create Construction Documents including exterior and interior details design and documentation with structural and mechanical/electrical/plumbing coordination. Aid the team in coordination of specifications for construction details and materials. Perform Construction Administration including reviewing submittals (shop drawings, product data, and samples) to deliver initial design intent. Also coordinate changes due to field conditions, owner changes, and value engineering. Aid Project Manager to implement project delivery tasks for specific projects as assigned. Develop in-house renderings coordinating with other team members. Meet with clients and consultants. Use Revit, AutoCAD, & Rhino 3D in all phases; use MS Office Suite & Adobe CS

Educational requirements: Bachelor of Architecture + 2 years related architectural design experience
