Handel Architects Explores the Tenement Museum’s New Exhibit
Handel Architects’ New York office recently attended a private tour of the Tenement Museum’s new permanent exhibit, A Union of Hope: 1869. This exhibit tells the story of Joseph and Rachel Moore, Black New Yorkers who built their home in Lower Manhattan during the 1860s and 1870s.
Handel Architects is proud to continue its longstanding support of the Tenement Museum, which shares the history of immigration in America through the lived experiences of individuals and families who once resided in the museum’s historic Lower East Side buildings.
