Partner Blake Middleton spoke at the ULI Baltimore conference, sharing lessons on affordable and sustainable housing.
Last week, Blake Middleton presented at the Urban Land Institute's Housing Opportunity Conference in Baltimore, alongside other experts from Perkins Eastman, Affordable Homes & Communities, and Enterprise Community Partners. Middleton spoke to conference attendees about Handel Architects’ work to design future-proof, resilient homes, focusing on how our project Sendero Verde has moved the needle on sustainable and affordable housing.
As the largest Passive House residential building in North America, Sendero Verde is one of the most ambitious affordable housing developments in New York City’s recent history. It delivers high-quality housing for over 700 East Harlem families at different income bands, with nearly 100 units set aside for formerly homeless residents.
