Sendero Verde officially opens in East Harlem

Opening Celebrated by City Officials and Project Team

Wednesday May 22nd was a beautiful day to celebrate the opening of Sendero Verde, now the largest fully-affordable Passive House building in the world. Awarded through NYC HPD’s SustaiNYC program, Sendero Verde contains 709 residences above extensive community facilities, retail, community gardens, and a publicly accessible landscaped courtyard. In addition to our team, the opening was attended by our clients Jonathan Rose and L+M, and by Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine & HPD Commissioner Adolfo Carrion Jr.
