1750 Broadway
1750 Broadway creates a new 423-foot tall marker on Oakland's skyline.
1750 Broadway is a new 307-unit, 38-story residential tower in Oakland’s emerging Entertainment and Arts District. The project is adjacent to a major subway station, incorporating an accessible entry within its street level as well as street level retail.
The building’s star-shaped tower plan references the acute angle of the street axes in Downtown and neighborhoods to the north, while the two-story crown compliments the crowns of nearby historic landmarks, such as the Oakland Tribune Tower and the Cathedral Building. Taken together, the project offers a distinct presence on the Oakland skyline with views in all directions.
Decorative perforated metal panels on the podium parking levels also carry through the geometry of intersecting street grids, while relating in scale to the adjacent lower-scale buildings and reinforcing the street wall.
Residents enter via either Broadway or 19th Street. Upper level amenity decks feature pools, landscaping, play areas, and dog runs in addition to indoor amenities including fitness, yoga, play, library, screening, package holding rooms and lounge areas.
