25 North Lex reimagines sophisticated urban living for White Plains.

25 North Lex is a new 500-unit residential project just a short walk from the White Plains train station in Westchester, creating one of the densest developments in the city.

The project’s interiors aim to break down the building’s scale, fostering a sense of intimacy within its expansive footprint. Drawing from the exterior facade's striking, folded copper-toned panels, the interior design pulls this warm, metallic materiality inward, reinterpreting it as a reflective ceiling that establishes a consistent visual thread throughout the shared spaces. This bold overhead element is balanced by a restrained palette of black metal and warm wood paneling across the amenity floors. These primary finishes are often unified through white oak slats over a black backing, a reoccurring detail that seamlessly integrates the two materials while adding architectural depth and texture to the common areas.

The building includes a rich amenity program, including a fitness center, yoga studio, work from home spaces, a conference room, private dining room, sports lounge, game room, children’s playroom, and a dog spa. Exterior amenities are distributed between the 5th and 17th floor amenity decks and include a lap pool, sunbathing areas, outdoor grills, lawns for outdoor activities, and community gardens.

The building's entry is anchored by a central sculptural table and an inset reception desk of striking Asian St. Laurent marble.

A graphic painting by Carolyn Salas hangs above the desk, synthesizing the room's color palette. To the side, a leather-upholstered banquette is tucked into a black metal-framed window niche, offering views of the evolving streetscape.

The lobby is designed as a serene respite from the bustling Metro-North corridor.

Light oak wood slats wrap the perimeter, providing an airy, vertical rhythm. A central fireplace offers a focal point for gathering. Above, a cluster of custom-made glass globe pendants descends from a recessed copper ceiling tray, designed to fall at varying heights to resemble a suspended constellation.

The main amenity lounge offers an expansive, open-plan floorplate thoughtfully zoned into intimate vignettes, ensuring a sense of privacy within the shared environment.

Large floor-to-ceiling windows define the lounge's expansive southern wall, offering views out onto the lushly landscaped amenity deck.

Oversized, organically shaped columns are wrapped in vertical wood slats, echoing the lobby and acting as natural room dividers.

Seating areas each take on their own character, with a curated mix of textures and form.

Metal wall panels fold seamlessly into a fireplace framed by floor-to-ceiling Calacatta marble, creating a focal point for this gathering space. Above, Sarah Meyohas's chromogenic print "Blue and Pink Speculation" adds a graphic pop of color.

Co-working areas are thoughtfully integrated throughout the lounge.

Designed with working professionals in mind, the interiors provide high-functioning workspaces for those who balance remote work with a commute to NYC via the adjacent Metro North station. Various workspaces offer a variety of environments that cater to different levels of focus and privacy, from private working booths, to meeting rooms, to semi-private niches for laptop work.
