Huang Hsian Dun Hua Office Tower
The Huang Hsiang Dun Hua Office Tower creates a curved landmark on Nanjing East Road.
The Huang Hsiang Dun Hua Office Tower is a new sculptural office building in Taipei, located along Nanjing East Road. The 11-story building sits next to the open space created by an adjacent low rise high school, and is one block from the vibrant intersection of Dunhua North Road. This intersection is defined by the architectural responses of the buildings that sit at each corner, three of which use curving facades to embrace the street. The Huang Hsiang Dun Hua building echoes these curves with its own gracefully contoured facade that rounds at the corner and bookends this block. Along Nanjing East Road, the broad northern elevation is broken into three segments, creating vertical reveals and opportunities for outdoor amenity space. At the crown, a screen wall opens up to reveal rooftop amenities with panoramic views of Taipei's skyline.
Retail wraps the corner and activates the street, while the office entrance is marked by a 28-foot (8.5-meter) entryway in glass. Inside, a double-height lobby includes elegantly curved ceilings, warm silver glazing, and copper-toned accents.
Office floors are complemented by a 2,410 sq. ft. (224 SM) rooftop amenity suite with meeting rooms, lounge areas, and a multi-level garden.
