Riverwalk Heights
Riverwalk Heights reflects the brick vocabulary that is common on Roosevelt Island, but in a lighter palette.
Riverwalk Heights is new 253-unit residential tower on Roosevelt Island in New York City. The 30-story tower sits within the green open space that makes Roosevelt Island a popular destination with New Yorkers and tourists alike. The building fronts Fire Fighter Field to the south and enjoys striking view of the bridge and Manhattan to the south and west, views of the Long Island City skyline on the southeast, and framed views of Manhattan to the west and north. 104 units have been reserved for employees of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
The tower is composed of three parallel volumes that rise to different heights. Each volume is visually expressed slightly differently, but all share a vocabulary of light gray brick and floor-to-ceiling glass. A porte cochere off of Main Street provides entry for residents, while a separate entry is provided for the ground-floor office space for the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation.
Amenities will include a rooftop terrace, lounges, dining and screening rooms, club room, coworking space, gardens and sundecks, a fitness center overlooking the East River, a basketball court, a yoga room, a children’s imagination playroom with outdoor play area, and a pet grooming area.
