Handel Architects led the master plan, conceptual design, and façade design for six distinctive residential buildings nestled on the edge of Taizhou’s prestigious Hehe Park. The towers vary between 17 and 18 stories, offering a total of 224 units. With only two units per floor, dedicated elevator access, and duplex penthouse apartments, the Hehe Park Residences represent the top of the luxury market in Taizhou.

The Hehe Park Residences are designed to provide a visual transition between the natural landscaping of park and the high-rise commercial building to the north. Central to the vision is the arrangement of buildings, which are strategically positioned to afford residents unobstructed, south-facing panoramas of the park and lake beyond. Four of the towers are further detailed with angled facades, allowing each unit dramatic, maximized views. Together with their bowed forms, the buildings visually suggest a group of sailboats on the adjacent lake.

Entrances are crafted with warm metal and stone and greet residents at a human scale. Ground-level courtyards offer landscaped Zen gardens with water features, sculptures and seating.
