Territoria Apoquindo

Client Territoria
Location Santiago, Chile
Status Under Construction

The second phase of Territoria Apoquindo includes a new commercial office tower that dramatically opens up to the outdoors.

Territoria Apoquindo is a new multi-building project in the Apoquindo neighborhood, the business and financial district of Santiago. When complete, the project will include four commercial office towers on a retail podium. The buildings connect directly to one of Santiago's busiest metro stations, a unique feature in the city.

Handel Architects' phase 2 tower is located on the southeastern quadrant of the site, at the corner of Apoquindo and El Bosque Norte. The design breaks with the typical office layout and instead takes advantage of Santiago’s mild climate with a series of large terraces that become spaces for outdoor working and amenities. The building's facade opens up to these terraces to create true indoor-outdoor experiences.

Handel Architects also designed the underground subway connection atrium, pictured above.
