The Belvedere
The Belvedere offers residents stunning views of San Francisco and the Bay.
The Belvedere is a new boutique condominium building located on an infill site in the Cow Hollow neighborhood of San Francisco. The 25-unit project fronts Van Ness Avenue, and is designed to relate to both the Victorian architecture immediately to the south, as well as the newer construction to the north.
The building's exterior is expressed through inverted folded bays which run along the Van Ness façade, creating a butterfly window typology. These champagne-colored bay windows are clad in metal and visually tie the building to the bay windows found in the adjacent Victorian buildings, as well as those throughout San Francisco. These "inverted" bay windows are juxtaposed against dark charcoal panels, which further emphasizes the depth of the windows. A rooftop terrace provides unobstructed views of all of the surrounding neighborhoods and the Bay.
Inside, the palette is a blend of high-end natural materials.
The lobby consists of poured terrazzo flooring with a custom patterned brass floor inlay, white oak wall paneling, and onyx stone accent walls.
