Watermark combines brick and metal panel to create visual definition to the building.

Watermark is a new 165-unit residential building in the Court Square neighborhood of Long Island City, Queens. The slender 30 story tower is clad in a subtle geometric pattern of punched brick and metal panels, in varying shades of grey. The tower form is composed of three parallel bars, with the central one rising above the other two. This central bar conceals the mechanical head house, and provides a sculptural backdrop to an amenity terrace at the top of the building, oriented towards the Manhattan skyline.
