Westin Sonata Place
The two towers of the Westin Sonata Place combine layers of metal and glass to create an elegant presence on the skyline.
The Westin Sonata Place Hotel & Residences will be Westin's first mixed-use hotel and residential development in Southeast Asia. Located in Manila’s Ortigas Commercial District, the area is home to many multinational corporations, as well as condominium towers, bars and restaurants. The site is adjacent to the corporate headquarters of the San Miguel Corporation.
The towers are designed to complement but not mimic one another.
The composition of the development is broken down into three parts: a 50-story residential tower, a 31-story hotel tower, and a podium that physically and visually ties the two towers together.
The residential tower defines the overall architectural language, using glass and metal ribbon window systems, punctuated by solid balconies and knee walls to create rhythm within the building’s facade. Large rectangular frames are grafted onto the upper portions of the towers, which define the buildings on the skyline. Both towers culminate with rooftop amenity spaces.
The Westin Sonata Place Hotel & Residences will include 432 residential units, 345 hotel keys, and feature over 15,000 sq. ft. (1,400 SM) of meeting space.
