The Computational Design Group is a team of enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the role of software and scripting within the design process at Handel Architects.

As a group, we conduct research on emerging workflows, provide training and tutorials, assist project teams with script writing, organize firm resources, and support Handel Architects' in-house community of experts.

Parametric tools are an important part of the modern architect’s arsenal. From low-level, plug-n-chug grasshopper scripts to fully automated parametric design programs, this group strives to expand and enhance these tools throughout the office to improve the overall efficiency, quality, intelligence, and ease with which we work.
