Phase One Scheduled Completion is September 2025.

Construction progress can be seen in recent photography of the Emanuel Nine Memorial, a new public space dedicated to the lives and sacrifices of the Emanuel Nine, the clergy and church members who were murdered in 2015 at the historic Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.

Concrete was recently poured for the equipment building for the fountain, and rebar is now being laid down for the Memorial Courtyard’s slab.
