Design Studio titled "Towards a New Theory of Tectonics: Seemingly Seamless"

This summer, Handel Architects has the fortune of collaborating with a design studio at Pratt Institute, co-taught by Ajmal Aqtash and Jason Lee. This 4th year design studio is titled “Towards a New Theory of Tectonics: Seemingly Seamless,” and will see advanced students pioneering new territory in design and digital fabrication. This is a unique moment, as the students will have access to a full-scale, state-of-the- art fabrication facility at Boyce Technologies, and interact with its research & development engineers for the first time.
