The 2025 class of AIA Fellows, including Handel Architects Principal Deborah Moelis, was celebrated at the AIA Conference on Architecture & Design earlier this month.

Through her work on large-scale, highly-sustainable buildings, Deborah Moelis has changed the building industry for the better. Her work has focused on creating solutions that are applicable to a wide range of building types, for users across all income bands. She is also a leader in sharing her expertise with her peers, the industry, and the wider community. She is a founding member of Handel Architects, helping it to grow from a small team into an international firm recognized for setting new standards in sustainable design.

Deborah is one of 93 architects this year who were elevated to The College of Fellows of The American Institute of Architects. Our heartfelt congratulations to her and all of the newly elevated members!
