Project takes Silver Award in Development & Design: Senior Housing category
We are excited to announce that Inspir Carnegie Hill has been named a 2021 winner by Multi-Housing News! The project was recognized for its success in connecting residents with nature and natural light. The building's architecture creates a simple elegance and order that acts as a framework for allowing the outdoors inside. Special attention was given to the care floors where glass walls can slide out of the way and residents can enjoy the feeling of sitting in front of a planted balcony with climbing vines.
Inside, a two-story lobby is flanked by reception and lobby café areas, which sets the tone for the interior material expression. A series of slatted oak wood and glass screen walls separate the lobby and dining rooms, energized by two-story gardens in the lobby café and east dining room and a display kitchen with counter seating and a wine wall in the main dining room. Residents’ units are designed to maximize natural light with floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant finishes customized for residents' needs with quality and luxury such as built-in kitchenettes, wardrobes and display niches, marble bathrooms and natural wood floors.
