The 53-story residential tower is unanimously approved by City Planning Commission.

Set above an existing 12-story podium that includes office, hotel, retail, and transit infrastructure, The Bloc will add 466 homes to the heart of LA’s Historic Core. The design reimagines the 1970s-era complex as a true mixed-use destination, integrating residential living into one of the city's most active blocks.

The Commission’s unanimous vote marks a major step forward for a project nearly a decade in the making.
