Senior Associate

Fausto Nunes is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects, which he joined in 2022. He has experience on a variety of large-scale complex projects, including managing projects that cross cultures and typologies. Completed projects include educational, mixed-use, commercial, and residential programs located in the United States, China, Brazil, Mexico, Austria, Portugal, Chile, and Indonesia.

Fausto is currently leading the design for a mixed-use residential project just outside of Washington, DC. Before joining Handel Architects, Fausto was a Senior Associate Principal for Kohn Pedersen Fox & Associates in their Shanghai and New York offices.

Fausto holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Woodbury University, San Diego and a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. He is a registered architect in the State of New York, a LEED and Well AP-accredited professional, and a member of the American Institute of Architects.
