ULI Americas Awards for Excellence competition is widely recognized as one of the real estate industry’s most prestigious award programs.

We are thrilled to announce that Essex Crossing was recognized as 1 of the 21 finalists in this year's ULI Americas Awards program! Essex Crossing is a nine-building redevelopment project on Manhattan’s Lower East Side that included an exceptional level of collaboration between many design firms, community representatives, and city officials.

Handel Architects designed the two largest buildings in the development, The Essex, a 20-story residential tower rising above a 5-story commercial podium that includes the new Essex Market, and The Artisan, a 19-story residential tower rising above a 5-story commercial podium that has been leased by Verizon.
