    Harriet Chang RA

    Associate Principal

    Harriet Chang is an Associate Principal in Handel Architects’ San Francisco office, which she joined in 2005. She is currently serving as Project Architect for The Austin Proper, a 615,000 sq. ft. mixed-use high rise project consisting of a 4.5-star hotel and luxury condominiums in Austin, Texas.

    Previous projects include serving as Project Architect for 301 Mission, a 1.2 million sq.ft. luxury high-rise residential project in the Transbay Terminal district of San Francisco; Rosewood Abu-Dhabi, a 1.1 million sq.ft. mixed-use hospitality project in Abu Dhabi; NEMA, a 1 million square foot apartment project in San Francisco; 340 Fremont, a 520,000 sq.ft. rental project in San Francisco; and 706 Mission, a 680,000 sq.ft. luxury high-rise residential and mixed use project in the Yerba Buena district of San Francisco.

    Prior to joining Handel Architects, Ms. Chang was a Designer and Job Captain working on a variety of projects at MBT Architecture in San Francisco, Yu Wang & Associates in Taipei, and Kaichuan Engineering in Taipei.

    Ms. Chang received her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley and her Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a registered architect in California.
