    Joseph H. Kim

    Senior Associate

    Joseph H. Kim is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects which he joined in 2013. During his time at Handel he has focused on the design and construction of a number of the firm’s large-scale multi-family residential projects, with an emphasis on construction administration.

    Mr. Kim is currently leading the construction administration for 595 Dean Street in Brooklyn for TFCornerstone, which includes nearly 800 residential units. He served in a similar capacity for the recently completed Beacon at Garvies Point, a 167-unit luxury condominium building in Glen Cove, NY for RXR Realty. Prior to that Mr. Kim worked on Hoyt & Horn, a 368-unit rental building in Brooklyn where he took the project from schematic design through construction.

    Before joining Handel Architects, Mr. Kim worked at Kevin Kennon Architects in New York, where he worked on various commercial and renovation projects. Mr. Kim holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering and a Master of Architectural Planning from Korea University, as well as a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
