    Soyae Baek

    Senior Associate

    Soyae Baek is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects with nearly 10 years of experience in a variety of project types in New York City, Boston, and Washington, DC.

    Ms. Baek is currently serving as Project Designer for The Durst Organization’s two-tower residential project at Halletts Point in Queens, New York, which will include nearly 650 residences. The project is currently under construction. Prior to that she was Project Designer for The Stacks, a multi-parcel project stretching over 6 acres in Washington DC’s southwest waterfront. Now under construction, The Stacks will include residential, hotel, and retail when completed. Ms. Baek was also involved in the design for 2 Harbor, a life science project under construction in the South Boston waterfront.

    Prior to joining Handel Architects, Ms. Baek worked at Rafael Vinoly Architects. She received her Masters in Architecture from Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in 2014.
