    Jonathan Morefield

    Senior Associate

    Jonathan Morefield is a Senior Associate in Handel Architects’ New York office and is broadly experienced in the design and con­struction of various project types.

    Currently, Mr. Morefield is working on The Stacks, a new mixed-used development in Washington, DC that includes hundreds of new residential units as well as a new hotel.

    Previously, Mr. Morefield worked on a variety of residential, hospitality, and institutional projects, including serving as Project Designer for Millennium Place, a 256-unit condo development in Boston’s Theater District. Also in Boston, he worked on the ren­ovation and addition to the Hemenway Building at the Boston Conservatory. In New York City, he was a Project Designer on the Greenpoint Landing Master Plan, which outlined the development of over 5,000 units on the Brooklyn waterfront. In Philadelphia, he was a Senior Designer for the W Hotel Philadelphia, a 450,000-square-foot mixed-use tower.

    Prior to joining Handel Architects, Mr. Morefield was with Eisenman Architects and worked on the construction team for P.S. 1’s Summer Warmup in 2005. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Virginia and his Masters of Architecture from Columbia University.
