Senior Associate

Sahej Bhatia is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects, bringing over a decade of experience in the design and delivery of complex, high‑rise residential and mixed‑use projects in New York, Miami, Boston and India.

Mr. Bhatia's experience includes 25 North Lex, where he served as lead designer on the exterior massing and façade for the residential tower, as well as The Set at Coterie Hudson Yards, a luxury residential building in Hudson Yards on which he worked through multiple phases of design. Current work includes both 8 Carlisle and 45 Broad, which are residential towers in Manhattan’s Financial District.

Parallel to his design leadership, Mr. Bhatia is at the forefront of the firm’s technological evolution, pioneering the integration of Generative AI into architectural practice by leveraging advanced AI-driven workflows and visualization techniques, redefining the standards of contemporary project delivery.

Mr. Bhatia received his Master of Design Studies (MDes) in Art, Design, and the Public Domain from Harvard University in 2018.
