    Selina Kwan

    Senior Associate

    Selina Kwan is a Senior Associate at Handel Architects with over 20 years of experience with large-scale residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects. 

    Ms. Kwan is currently serving as Project Manager for a new 958-unit, 64-story residential tower in Queens for The Durst Organization; the project includes the rehabilitation of the famous Queens Clocktower.

    Recently completed work includes the mixed-use Aurora Residential Tower and Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Long island City, Queens, for which she served as Project Manager.  Previous work includes a 56-acre master plan on the South Bronx waterfront for Somerset Partners, which includes over 1,200 residential units; and a new 400-unit residential tower on East 43rd Street for client BLDG.

    Before joining Handel Architects, Ms. Kwan worked at Pelli Clarke Pelli in New York, where she participated in the curtainwall design for the renovation of the World Financial Center for Brookfield. Previous to that, she served as a Project Designer and Project Manager at Arquitectonica, where she managed The Related Companies’ 1.3 million sq. ft. mixed-use project MiMA on West 42nd Street.

    Ms. Kwan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Washington in Seattle.
